Odd Roar Olsen`s story

My name is Odd Roar Olsen, born and raised in Ballstad, a small fishing village in Northern Norway. On this small island within the Lofoten Islands, 200 kilometers above the arctic circle, Ballstad, a home of about 1000 people, has been the center of fishing activities and the livelihood of the people for thousands of years.

Life on an island in the north of Norway

Growing up in a place where everything has to be earned through hard work and perseverance is a great opportunity for me. This instilled in me the belief that the road to success is through self-sacrifice and deserving. This upbringing gave birth to a fundamental belief that perseverance and determination bring positive results in life.
